My talent for painting runs in my gene pool. Unfortunately, my parents believed that the artist was not a profession, so my talent could not find an expression for long time. I started to work with fashion designing, while painting had been remaining in my life as interest and hobby. After a psychological burnout, painting has become the only thing that makes sense for me. On the recommendation of my psychiatrist, I left my previous job and has become the artist.
I am happy to have the freedom to do what I love - to create, to enjoy the creativity of other people, and being myself. It is an inspiring feeling of being full of ideas that can be clearly presented in my artworks. It is an incredible feeling when something that from the beginning has existed only in my thoughts appears lately on the canvas.
I like the life’s endless opportunity to learn, to be able to choose projects that interest me, and to be able to express myself in my personal unique way, to express my world on canvas.
I put a piece my soul in each artwork, and in that moment all the fears and troubles disappear traceless. It is an amazing feeling when other people can touch my heart and my soul through my paintings. I am glad that my artworks are recognized by other artists, and I can say everything I want without any censorship.
My artistic style has been developing in a certain sequence, like the evolution. Over time, my technique has been improving, I received both life and artistic experience, which, of course, found a reflection in my paintings. I try to express the idea of multidimensionality of existence in my artworks. I like the idea that reality exists simultaneously in many variants, and a person has a chance to choose any of them. I often use levkas on canvas, spatulas and palette-knives of different forms. For the accurate work I use thin brushes with kolinsky hair. I prefer oils based on natural pigments and some of them, for example lead and antimony, I do myself.
I want you, while contemplating these paintings, to see not what I see, but to have space to create your own meanings and get your own unique experience.
